FULL DESCRIPTION

Maintenance Controller

You'll schedule and plan the delivery of all planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for plant at customers' sites and ensure the service aspects of all contracts are fulfilled.

You'll schedule and plan the delivery of all planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for plant at customers' sites and ensure the service aspects of all contracts are fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and actively manage the PPM plan for rail and non-rail assets nationally utilising available fitter resource. Ensuring that peaks and troughs are managed effectively to utilise fitter resource sensibly to limit unproductive time.
  • Ensure equipment PPM plans are maintained and that service visits are notified in accordance with customer contracts.
  • Manage the deployment of mobile fitter resource to meet the contract work plan and communicate plans to Mobile Supervisors / Mobile Fitters.
  • Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to produce plans that best meet customer requirements.
  • Produce and manage quotes with customers and 3rd party suppliers

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous knowledge/experience of planning and scheduling databases
  • Strong knowledge and application of Excel, data capture, reporting and analysis
  • A team player that has an agile approach and can prioritise effectively
  • The ability to build rapport quickly with colleagues, customers and stakeholders
  • Have a genuine passion for great service and striving for excellence
  • Experience in the Hire industry would be desirable but is not essential
