Permanent  - Full Time (40 hours per week)

Education, Skills and Work (ESW) Administrator

We now have an opportunity for a Education, Skills and Work (ESW) Administrator to join our Education, Skills and Work team within the Activity Allocation department at HMP Parc. The successful candidate will provide administration to the department including work allocation for prisoners.

  • To schedule / maintain prisoner information on the CMS and NOMIS systems and Z and P drives.
  • Data collation of prisoner’s activities information and supply figures to the senior management.
  • To create security risk assessments and maintain a log on the computer systems.
  • Manager the administration of the department
  • To deal with service providers and all people at site in a professional manner at all times.
  • To deal with enquires via telephones and email systems.
  • To maintain filing systems.
  • To sift through and complete wing trawls to create course lists.
  • Submit and manage Insiders and training wing barbers manual payments to Finance.
  • To attend meeting and produce minutes.
  • Assist in the promotion of creating a positive Health & Safety culture across the site leading by example, this includes reporting accidents and near misses in a timely manner & follow the applicable safe systems of work for the role.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Administrator and therefore must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to tight deadlines, have a keen eye for detail and have the ability to prioritise workload .  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as working proactively and using your own initiative. It is key that you are flexible and adaptable to deal with ever-changing scenarios. The role requires an individual with excellent IT skills.
