Job Title: IP Designer (Network engineer) DNS
Location: Leeds can also be potentially based in London
Salary/Rate: £530-£530 a day
Start Date: Mid April
Job Type: Contract for 6 months

We're working with a leading telecoms provider looking for a skilled IP Designer with strong expertise in DNS, IP networking, and telecoms infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team supporting critical network services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and support DNS and IP network solutions
  • Work with core networking technologies across enterprise and service provider environments
  • Support and maintain telecoms transmission systems
  • Contribute to change control processes and continuous network improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions

✅ Essential Skills

  • Proven experience with Infoblox or similar DNS platforms (recent experience required)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Juniper technologies
  • Solid understanding of DNS & DHCP
  • In-depth knowledge of IP protocols and networking fundamentals
  • Experience with Cisco ACI or Juniper environments

⭐ Desirable Skills

  • Background in IP network design within service provider or mobile operator environments
  • Familiarity with RADIUS, IP QoS, and DNS-based session technologies
  • Experience supporting large-scale telecoms network builds
  • Strong collaboration and solution leadership skills
  • Flexibility to support occasional out-of-hours work
