An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Business Support Team.

Business Support is key to the success of our Adult Social Care and Safeguarding Services because our Business Support teams are there, making sure things run smoothly. All that work in the background doesn’t just happen, it takes dedicated colleagues, taking pride in their work and seeing a purpose in the work they are doing.
Supporting our Adult Social Care and Safeguarding Strategic Management Team, this dynamic, and diverse role provides high quality customer centred and value for money support that underpins Adult Social Care Strategy, Planning, and Improvements.
Main Responsibility
The primary aim of this role is to provide dedicated administrative support working closely with our Adult Social Care and Safeguarding Strategic Leads and other Senior Figures. Everything we do in Business Support, will have a positive impact on people across Staffordshire.
Other duties will tend to include:
- Maintaining and monitoring ICT systems including the input and retrieval of data
- Producing high level, accurate documents
- Data extraction and collation of information
- Varied administrative and customer care duties
- Use of Integra for raising purchase orders and payment of invoices
The Ideal Candidate
What do we need from you?
Working and supporting our Strategic Team requires teamwork, good organisational skills and a good level of competency using IT systems.
You’ll also need:
- Strong experience of Word and Excel is desirable, and you must be able to multitask and prioritise your workload effectively, be an excellent communicator and team player
- Have the confidence to work with people at all levels
- A flexible approach to work as sometimes things can change, and so you’ll need to be able to prioritise work and sometimes change tasks quickly
- A passion to always give the best service
- You will already have some experience in a similar role, and be used to delivering high-quality, great customer service while meeting tight deadlines.
- You will work proactively, looking for new ways of working, contributing to the outcomes of the service you are supporting as well as the outcomes of the Business Support Service.
