#### Why did you decide to commence an apprenticeship?
“I chose an apprenticeship to gain a qualification that will support my career progression within my department.”
#### What kind of support do you receive from your tutor and colleagues?
“I receive regular support from my tutor, who provides valuable guidance and feedback. We hold regular virtual meetings to discuss my work, address any challenges I may be facing and ensure I am on track to meet my goals. My line manager attends planned review meetings with my tutor where we collectively discuss my progress and development.”

#### How do you think your apprenticeship will help you in your future career?
“My apprenticeship will provide me with the necessary qualification to advance within my current role and open up further opportunities for career progression in compliance. It is also helping me to develop a range of general skills that are vital for success in any professional setting. For example, I am honing my communication skills by learning how to effectively convey information to colleagues and stakeholders. Additionally, I am improving my organisational abilities by becoming more adept at managing my time, prioritising tasks and ensuring that my workload is handled efficiently.”
#### What advice would you give to someone considering an apprenticeship?
“I would highly recommend that anyone considering an apprenticeship takes the opportunity and chooses one that aligns with their career aspirations. Undertaking an apprenticeship offers a unique chance to gain both practical experience and a recognised qualification, which can significantly enhance career progression.”
