Ally Chapman is Strategic Lead for the Star Appropriate Body, working across the Star Teaching School Hub Network to deliver the Department for Education’s professional development offer for teachers and ensuring that Early Career Teachers (ECTs) receive high-quality support throughout their induction. With a career in education spanning almost three decades across schools, universities and regional leadership roles, Ally brings a wealth of experience and a passion for raising professional standards nationally. Her work with the Appropriate Body supports more than 900 schools across the country, contributing directly to teacher retention, professional growth and improved pupil outcomes.
