Responsibilities:
- Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) in line with NAS410 / EN4179 and customer specifications.
- Set up, expose, and process film and/or digital (DR/CR) radiographs
- Level 2 personnel: interpret radiographs and evaluate results against acceptance criteria; prepare and verify technique sheets
- Level 1 personnel: carry out exposures and assist in image evaluation under Level 2/3 supervision
- Maintain accurate inspection records, traceability documentation, and equipment calibration
- Ensure compliance with IRR17 and company radiation protection procedures
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
The Ideal Person for the Radiographer role:
- Certified Radiographic Testing (RT) Level 1 or Level 2 to NAS410 / EN4179 (film and/or digital)
- Understanding of NDT principles, radiographic techniques, and radiation safety
- Strong attention to detail, good record keeping, and ability to follow technical procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
