About the Role
- Role starts on 7th SEPTEMBER 2026
- There is travel expected in this role and nights away from home (sometimes for as long as 3 months) - around the North region - You are provided with a company car or car allowance. Fuel will be fully paid for by the company – and we will provide and pay for your accommodation.
- Can be based around Manchester area
- Role is offered on a 24 month basis - incorporating 6 x 3-4 month work placements. These may be in any of the region detailed above.
- In the North region we have a wide variety of business areas that you will be working within in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of how [Employer hidden] works within the waste management sector. This will include Industrial and Commercial (I&C) and PFI.
- £28,673 - £31,257 + Company Car / Car Allowance + Up to 3% Bonus + Benefits
- You must have the right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
About the role
What will I be doing?
We are seeking graduates who are motivated to build their careers within a real‑world operational environment and who demonstrate the potential to progress into future operational management roles.
- To undertake professional and personal development by improving own knowledge of the waste management industry.
- To undertake relevant internal and external training and hold or be working towards the appropriate waste specific qualification.
- You will be working within the Operations Team in your region - undertaking a 24 month work rotation.
- Attendance across multiple sites within region, with occasional travel UK wide, including overnight stays.
What are the requirements?
- Applicants must hold a degree in a relevant discipline with links to the waste industry, such as Business Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Waste Management, Chemistry, Geography, or Sustainability.
- Graduated in the past 5 years
- Right to work in the UK with no requirement for sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must have full UK driving licence and able to drive long distances across your region.
- Must currently live or be willing to relocate to relevant region for duration of scheme.
- Must be OK with being away from home as overnight stays will be required within your region.
- A keen eye for detail.
