Passionate about recycling and keeping operations running smoothly? Join us as a Site Supervisor at our busy Waste Transfer Station in Sclattie, Aberdeen. You’ll play a vital hands-on leadership role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-performing site operations that help divert more waste from landfill and support a more sustainable future.

About the role

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, you’ll lead daily site operations with a strong focus on safety and performance:

  • Supervise day-to-day running of the waste transfer station, ensuring full compliance with health & safety, environmental standards, and [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] policies.
  • Manage and deploy staff and resources efficiently, while providing clear leadership and support to the team.
  • Monitor operations, supervise personnel, mobile plant and fixed plant, and drive continuous improvements in quality and efficiency.
  • Handle monthly payroll hours, maintain budgetary control, and order equipment and resources as needed.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and ensure all activities meet required health & safety legislation.

What we're looking for

  • Experience supervising and developing engaged teams to deliver high operational standards.
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Broad knowledge of plant equipment is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided.
