- Oversee maintenance of plant and machinery while championing safety, compliance, and best-practice standards.
- Develop motivated teams and foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance and support the effective management of recycling and waste recovery activities.
What we're looking for
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds — your leadership style and operational experience matter most:
- Proven track record as a Senior Site Manager or similar leadership role in waste treatment, production, or a similar operational environment.
- Experience leading and inspiring teams across multiple sites.
- COTC qualification in Treatment (highly desirable) and IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to undertake training).
- NEBOSH General Certificate is advantageous but not essential — training will be provided where needed.
- Strong commercial awareness, good IT skills (Microsoft Word & Excel), and a friendly, approachable leadership style.
This role has developed following a recent restructure in Cornwall and is focused on delivering consistent, high-performing operations across our network of sites.
We particularly encourage applications from underrepresented groups in waste management and sustainability. If you require any reasonable adjustments during the application or interview process, please let us know — we’re committed to being an inclusive employer.
