FULL DESCRIPTION

Outbound Sales Team Lead

The UK Outbound Sales team sits at the heart of [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]'s merchant growth engine, responsible for bringing our financial tools to the small businesses that need them most. The team is at a pivotal moment: strong foundations have been laid, and now there's a genuine opportunity to raise the bar, build consistency, and create an outbound model that can serve as a blueprint across markets. This role carries real weight — you'll inherit a team with potential, shape how it performs, and have a direct line to what outbound excellence looks like at [Employer hidden].

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives through 1:1s, call shadowing, deal reviews, and hands-on pipeline support - Own outbound strategy end to end — from territory planning and account sourcing to messaging and sequencing — and translate it into consistent team execution - Identify performance gaps, build clear action plans, and drive accountability across revenue, activation, and outreach quality - Use data to track performance trends and turn insights into practical improvements at both individual and team level - Partner closely with the Head of Sales UK to shape outbound strategy, share what's working, and contribute to hiring and onboarding as the team scales

- Solid background in outbound sales, including hands-on experience managing and coaching Account Executives in a similar environment - Deep knowledge of the full outbound toolkit — cold calling, sequencing, objection handling, territory planning — and a track record of coaching others to do it well - Experience in payments, fintech, or hospitality with a strong understanding of the SMB landscape and what motivates merchant customers - Ability to balance strategic thinking with fast, practical execution — spotting what's broken and fixing it without losing momentum - Comfort working in a turnaround or high-growth environment where resilience, data-driven decision making, and a coaching mindset are non-negotiable
