Category C1 Driver – Downpatrick

We are currently looking for a Category C1 Driver required to work with the Newry Mourne and Down District Council, in the Downpatrick area.

This is a temporary position, initially for 3 months, with the possibility of extension. The working hours are 36 per week with an hourly rate of £14.07 per hour.

Main duties will be:

  • Litter and debris removal, disposal of fallen leaves and weeds, refuse collection, general cleaning, and assisting members of the public with any general enquiries.

What We Need From You

  • Current Category C driving licence and C1 +E is desirable
  • Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
  • 1 years experience driving vehicles that require a Category C1 licence.
