[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are recruiting a Planning Officer to join the NI Housing Executive regeneration team based in Ballymena. This role supports housing-led regeneration, land use planning, and the delivery of new social and mixed-tenure housing across Northern Ireland.

Working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with a pay rate of £16.90-£18.85 p/h

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing land assets and supporting planning applications.
• Helping identify and develop housing schemes in areas of need.
• Carrying out site and feasibility studies, particularly in high-demand or rural areas.
• Providing planning advice and producing Housing Investment Plans.
• Working closely with local councils and stakeholders to shape sustainable communities.

What We Need From You

Essential criteria for this role:

• Hold an accredited planning qualification by a professionally recognised organisation
• An ability to demonstrate one year relevant experience of working in a planning environment
