Seasonal General Attendant – Various locations

First choice are currently recruiting for 3 Seasonal General Attendants, required to work with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council across a number of areas including Downpatrick, Rostrevor, and Kilkeel.

These are temporary posts, required for a period of 4 months, but may be extended based on monthly performance reviews.

These posts will cover a range of hours, therefore each applicant must be fully flexible between Monday – Sunday, including evenings.

The pay rate is £13.63 per hour.

Main duties:

• Instruct and supervise the public at all times ensuring safe and orderly usage and visitor satisfaction is maintained.
• To prevent unauthorised activities and comply with Management procedures and Council Bye-Laws.
• To collect and ensure the safety of monies in accordance with procedures, and to disseminate information and prepare and maintain records/reports.
• To report defects and undertake general maintenance, cleaning duties, security/safety checks and emergency action/repairs.

What We Need From You

• 4 GCSE’s all grade C or above to include English and Maths.
• At least 1 years relevant experience in a customer facing role working with the public.
• Willing to undertake an Access NI check
• Ability to work unsupervised and under own initiative
