Senior Support Worker

About the Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will assist the Service Manager in delivering outstanding care and support to individuals who enjoy active and independent lifestyles.

You will play a vital role in supporting people with daily routines and encouraging independence

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deputise for the Service Manager in their absence
• Manage rota and ensure effective service delivery
• Provide on-call support across multiple services as required
• Handle incidents with on-call advice and assistance
• Build and maintain professional relationships with individuals
• Deliver care as outlined in care and person-centred plans
• Assist individuals with daily personal care tasks

What we’re looking for

A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or above) is desirabile. Support will be provided to gain this qualification if required

Previous experience as a Support Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, Senior Health Care Assistant or Deputy Manager is preferred
