Senior Accountant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a large, growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Huddersfield. This long-established firm offer a variety of services to assist their clients with many aspects of their accounting needs. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues with varying experience, helping you to progress your career with the support of the team.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Managing your own portfolio of clients
• Preparation and review of year end accounts for a variety of clients including sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
• Preparation and review of VAT returns.
• Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities.

To qualify for this Senior Accountant position, ideally you should meet the following:

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• 5+ years’ experience, having worked as a Senior Accountant in an Accountancy Practice.
• Comfortable building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues as you will be managing your own portfolio.
