FULL DESCRIPTION

We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Manager to join a growing, modern, forward-thinking firm of Accountants based in Wetherby. As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for: Managing a diverse portfolio of SME clients and acting as a trusted advisor, Preparing financial statements and management accounts in line with relevant standards, Building strong, long-term client relationships and providing proactive financial insights, Supporting clients with bookkeeping and cloud accounting tools (especially Xero), Supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members, Identifying opportunities to improve clients’ financial processes and adding real value.

Salary: £40000 - £50000 per annum

As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of SME clients and acting as a trusted advisor
  • Preparing financial statements and management accounts in line with relevant standards

To qualify for this Client Manager position, ideally you will meet the following:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Solid understanding of professional regulations and best practice
