Conduct Manager – Insurance

A leading London Market insurance business is looking to appoint a Conduct Manager to play a key role in the development and oversight of its conduct risk framework. Working as a subject matter expert within the Compliance function, you will provide advisory support across a range of conduct topics including Consumer Duty, product governance, complaints handling and customer outcomes, while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business.

Key Duties

  • Provide clear, commercially focused advice on conduct risk
  • Support first-line teams in implementing effective controls aligned with Consumer Duty
  • Lead compliance reviews of new and existing products
  • Review customer communications and financial promotions
  • Conduct regulatory gap analysis
  • Perform complaints trend and root cause analysis to identify emerging conduct risks
  • Maintain and enhance conduct risk frameworks, policies and procedure
  • Prepare conduct-related reporting for senior management, committees and Board forums
  • Support development of conduct MI, KPIs and KRIs
  • Support the delivery of conduct risk training and awareness programmes
  • Help promote a strong customer-focused compliance culture across the organisation
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members where required

Experience Required

  • Significant second-line compliance experience within the London insurance market
  • Strong technical knowledge of ICOBS, Consumer Duty, PROD and DISP
  • Experience implementing conduct risk frameworks and controls
  • Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently within a fast-paced, regulated environment
