An exciting opportunity to manage and underwrite a dynamic portfolio of SME and mid-market risks across the Marine Insurance industry. In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with intermediaries and customers, ensuring their needs align with the company’s objectives. Your expertise will be vital in identifying opportunities and supporting the wider team, sharing your knowledge with junior colleagues and helping to foster a culture of continuous development.
Cargo & Freight Insurance Underwriter
Salary: £35000 - £47000 per annum
Location: Leeds
We’re looking for someone with solid experience in Cargo or Freight insurance, either within underwriting or broking. You’ll bring a strong technical understanding of cargo policies, including the key principles and complexities involved in underwriting freight and logistics risks. Previous experience managing portfolios with varied and often complex risks will be essential.
