FULL DESCRIPTION

You’ll be getting involved with New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept to delivery, you’ll drive continuous improvement initiatives and assist in defining manufacturing equipment requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Determining effective and economical methods of manufacture
  • Advising on manufacturing project implementation and requirements
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Resolving production and quality issues
  • Supporting the introduction of new products and modifications
  • Being a point of contact for suppliers, consultants and controlling authorities

Hours

37.5 per week, Mon – Fri, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Skills & Experience

Raw metal engineering experience and knowledge of metal manufacturing processes from design to delivery are essential for this role.

  • A strong understanding of metal machining processes
  • The ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience in customer interaction and the ability to understand their requirements
  • Must have the right to work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship now and in the future
