FULL DESCRIPTION
Are you an experienced Deputy Home Manager or Senior Residential Worker ready to take the next step in your career? Work together with us to re-parent traumatised young people, supporting them to achieve their aspirations, whist we support you to achieve yours!
As a Deputy Home Manager you will:
- Support with the day-to-day running of the home
- Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance
- Support, supervise and develop the staff team
- Promote trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches
- Act as a positive role model for young people
- Support young people achieve personal goals and independence
- Assist with reports and regulatory requirements
To be a successful Deputy Home Manager at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk], you will have:
- Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent e.g. Social Work Degree)
- Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma (or willingness to work towards)
- Previous experience working with children and young people in residential settings
- Experience in a senior role/deputy position with managerial responsibilities
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care
- Compassion, resilience and the ability to act as a positive role model to both the young people and staff team
