We are currently looking for a Central Purchasing Administratorto join our team in Portland House, Solihull.

We are currently looking for a Central Purchasing Administratorto join our team in Portland House, Solihull.

Role Responsibility

As Central Purchasing Administrator you will work as part of the Expense Team, who are responsible for the day-to-day processing of all transactions within the Purchasing, Credit Card, and Expenses Teams. The team works within Sarbanes Oxley controls.

Other responsibilities as the Central Purchasing Administratorinclude;

  • Ensuring all expenses and Credit card transactions are processed and compliant
  • Raising and completing Purchase Orders
  • Resolving any amendments and queries whilst implementing and adhering to business SLA’s.
  • Producing tangible and accurate weekly/monthly, reporting to drive business initiatives and areas of improvement.
  • Maintaining good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring the correct and appropriate policies and procedures are in place and communicated to customers and stakeholders.
  • Auditing, reviewing and Implementing process reviews and process maps.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience working as a Central Purchasing Administrator or similar gained within a fast-paced Shared Services environment and possess good practical knowledge of Purchase to Pay processes.

Specific Requirements;

  • You will have used SAP and Excel.
  • You will have an eye for detail, and accuracy and be looking to make improvements throughout the processes.
