Main duties of the job

  • Independently assess, treat, and support patient recovery by evaluating their ability to transfer, perform daily living activities, and regain independence. This includes implementing tailored treatment plans and collaborating closely with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

  • Work autonomously while having access to qualified therapists for supervision, guidance, and input on complex treatment plans or discharge decisions.
  • Assist therapists in patient assessments and carry out delegated responsibilities such as participating in board rounds, supporting personal care and transfers, recommending adaptations, and gathering key information about a patient's daily living skills and home environment.
