An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join Onnen Ward at the Rehabilitation Unit, Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families. Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members. The successful applicant must have excellent communication and organisational skills and have the ability to deliver the highest standards of care in a demanding environment.

Main duties of the job
- Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care with minimal supervision.
- Maintaining high standards of patient care and carrying out all administrative and nursing duties as delegated.
- Organizing and deploying staff according to their competence to meet patients' needs.
- Demonstrating knowledge of infection control standards and promoting these within the ward environment.
This role requires strong communication skills, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering high quality care. The position is also part of a flexible work environment, with opportunities for career development and a focus on a healthy work-life balance.

Essential: NMC registered - Evidence to be provided at interview
Desirable: Evidence of post registration study and training eg POVA
Experience:
Essential: Pre registration evidence in direct nursing care. Experience of providing holistic nursing care Interest in developing nursing skills
Desirable: Clear understanding of clinical governance framework Implement evidence based practice
Skills:
