Job summary

As a Medical Administrator, you will be at the heart of patient care; managing appointments, handling queries, and processing patient data. You will also communicate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Main duties of the job

  • Routine duties such as data entry and document management
  • Assist in running the call and recall systems for long term condition clinics and areas of clinical need
  • Managing appointments via our computerised system, ensuring efficient scheduling with doctors, nurses, and other staff.
  • Handling service user querieswith tact, accuracy, professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Supporting clinical teams with administrative duties, including maintaining accurate patient records, preparing clinic documents, and processing incoming correspondence.
  • Working to Government targets and ensuring high quality care to the practice population
  • Liaising with external agencies, such as hospitals and community services, to support continuity of care.
