[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Client Manager to work directly with clients, using your judgement and expertise to help them to understand their business. The role involves engaging with client data to continuously improve systems and inform decisions, supervising junior members of the team, and bringing your passion for business.

Essential Experience: Fully Qualified with 3+ years' UK work experience

Flexible Working Options Available: By mutual agreement with flexibility, but will need to be within the boundaries of 8am-6pm Mon-Fri.

  • Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) and with 3 years+ experience in client and staff management in the UK.
  • Enjoys interacting with people, has strong communication skills and approachable.
  • Team player who is willing to step in and help, wherever they can.
  • Has a positive, pro-active attitude to problem solving and keen to take ownership of the role.
  • Naturally curious and on the lookout for a better way to do things.
  • Strong IT skills, willing and able to learn new platforms and IT solutions.

The Role:

  • Working directly with clients, using your judgement and expertise to help them to understand their business.
  • Engaging with client data to continuously improve systems and inform decisions.
  • Supervising junior members of the team, helping them to develop strategic thinking and technical skills.
  • Bringing your passion for business, continuously challenging how we do things and building improvements into everything you do.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reviewing year-end company accounts and corporation tax returns for client approval.
  • Preparing and reviewing sole trader accounts, personal tax returns, and partnership accounts and tax returns for client approval.
  • Meeting clients and responding to any queries.
  • Dealing with new client enquiries, company formations.
  • Supervising production of VAT returns, payroll etc.
  • Advising clients on salary and dividends.
  • Mucking in with the team on tasks as needed.

We are a growing practice with a professional client base, providing very high Customer Service. We offer flexibility to work full-time, with hours between 8 am and 6 pm, with the option of working partly from home.
