ACP Job Description – Triage and Duty Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical triage for same‑day patient requests, ensuring timely assessment and prioritisation based on clinical need.
- Manage duty clinician responsibilities, including urgent patient reviews, acute presentations, and any required follow‑up care.
- Independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients within the advanced clinical scope of practice, using sound clinical judgment and decision‑making.
- Prescribe medications safely and appropriately in line with independent prescribing qualifications.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to support safe and effective patient care.
- Contribute to maintaining our high clinical standards and support ongoing quality‑improvement initiatives.
Applicants will need to have completed a full Master’s degree, and the post can be offered on either a part‑time or full‑time basis.
