Account Manager (Part-time)

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Account Manager to nurture key client relationships and drive sustainable growth. You will play a visible role in shaping the success of a diverse portfolio, collaborating closely with technical experts and project teams to ensure our solutions meet the needs of every customer.

What you will do

  • Build long term, trusted relationships with clients, understanding their challenges and strategic priorities.
  • Develop tailored account plans that support customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Build trust and new relationships with potential customers, to identify and progress new business opportunities.
  • Lead contract discussions, ensuring agreements align with [Employer hidden]’s commercial and legal requirements.
  • Work with project managers, software engineers, and analysts to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Represent [Employer hidden] in senior stakeholder meetings, events, and industry touchpoints.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, supporting continuous improvement.
  • Support engagement activities including product launches, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Ensure any customer issues are resolved promptly and professionally.

What you will bring

  • Experience in account management, business development, or commercial roles, ideally within software or technology consultancy.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to build credibility at every level.
  • A proactive, results focused approach and a genuine interest in innovation.
  • Excellent organisational capability, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Understanding of technology in health, social care, public health, or research environments is an advantage.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when needed.
