FULL DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Bid Writer, you will shape persuasive, well-structured written responses for a wide range of public sector procurements, from national or local authority tenders each with differing complexity. You will bring clarity to complex information, transforming input from subject matter experts across Product, Operations, R&D, Practice, and Pre-Sales into clear, cohesive content aligned with customer needs and our win themes.

What you will do

  • Write and develop high-quality responses for ITTs, frameworks, and market engagement activities
  • Translate technical, architectural, deployment, and implementation details into accessible, persuasive prose
  • Support win theme definition, storyboarding, and bid planning activities
  • Engage with colleagues across multiple teams to gather and refine content
  • Contribute to bid strategies for strategic opportunities
  • Maintain and enhance the bid library and content management tools
  • Lead bid retrospectives and support continuous improvement activity

What you will bring

  • Proven experience as a bid writer, ideally within software or technology
  • Strong background in public sector tendering, ideally involving Local Authorities
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent written communication skills with a commitment to precision and clarity
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Familiarity with procurement frameworks such as CCS and YPO
  • Experience with content management systems or bid libraries is an advantage
