FULL DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer with cloud infrastructure, security, automation, and DevOps practices experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud environments to support our client’s applications and services.
Cloud Engineer – Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS)
- Implement security best practices for cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and monitoring
- Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code
- Optimise cloud environments for cost, performance, and reliability
- Work closely with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and scalability
Cloud Engineer – Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Proven experience within a similar Cloud Engineer position
- Strong understanding of networking, security and Cloud governance
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins or CircleCI
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues
