Digital PR Strategist – Outline:

  • Hands-on implementing targeted PR and content strategies
  • Writing press releases and client website content
  • Building relationships with journalists and key media outlets
  • Attending client pitches to sell-in PR and help support new business
  • Working with creative, development and marketing teams to develop campaigns
  • Promote our clients’ content, pitch stories ideas to journalists, bloggers and influencers to gain media coverage and backlinks
  • Content campaign planning and implementation
  • Brainstorming content marketing assets
  • Producing ideas around content production for clients
  • Researching trends and pitching creative ideas to clients
  • Media monitoring for relevant opportunities for clients
  • Use of PR software databases, distribution and reporting platforms
  • Creation of content calendars
  • Manage the creation of copy internally and externally (clients and freelancers)

Digital PR Strategist – Requirements:

  • Strong digital PR experience, ideally agency side
  • Experience of creating content strategies and driving PR campaigns
  • Excellent content & creative writing skills. Able to spot ideas, angles and opportunities with content
  • An understanding of what makes a good quality link
  • Knowledge and connections with media contacts and social influencers would be desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience researching trends and competitors
  • A keen interest in digital marketing
  • Good written and spoken English

Digital PR Strategist is offering £25,000 – £35,000 basic salary plus excellent benefits for the successful candidate. This is a full-time, permanent position. During the pandemic the position will be homebased, once we return to a new norm, the successful candidate will be expected to be office-based in Leeds 2-3 days per week.
