Data Product Manager

Our client is an established engineering facility based in the Harrogate area. Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting a Data Product Manager to join their NPD Team.

The Data Product Engineer will be responsible for managing our client’s product systems and platforms. Ensuring accurate data is delivered to the market to meet our client’s customers needs.

Data Product Manager – Key Responsibilities

  • • Managing and running our client’s data product tools & systems, such as EDATA, EPIM, ETIM, Luckins, Product Selection tool, IoT platforms and apps.
  • • Monitoring and analysis of the improvements to be made to data product tools & systems.
  • • Strategy for development of our client’s data product tools & systems.
  • • Collaboration with wider business and outside contractors for the integration of tools and systems.
  • • Working closely with Product Managers & Technical team to ensure that the data in our client’s systems is accurate and kept up to date.
  • • Introduction of new products onto the product systems.
  • • Looking for opportunities to improve our processes, systems and tools.
  • • Delivering our digital product strategy.
  • • Understanding the market requirements and technologies.
  • • Entry of technical data into the product databases.

Data Product Manager – Skills & Experience

  • • Work experience or a degree in a Technical/Engineering field (Mechanical or Electrical would be preferred).
  • • Knowledge of data management.
  • • Experience with management of digital data platforms.
  • • Data informed – The ability to process and understand data sets and draw insights from them. Being data informed, not data led.
  • • Good problem solving skills.
  • • An analytical and solutions orientated mindset.

The Data Product Manager position is offering a competitive basic salary plus excellent benefits. This is a full-time, permanent, site based position in Harrogate.
