Our client is a UK wide construction related business. Currently recruiting for a Health Safety Quality Environmental Coordinator to assist the HSQE team and wider company, to ensure effective HSQE compliance, administration, advice and audit throughout the business.
Health Safety Quality Environmental Coordinator – Purpose
Ensure all company HSQE and Compliance activities are controlled and administered in line with current Legislative requirements and Environmental best practice. Ensure Health and Safety Requirements are met in association with National HSQE Manager / Team. Assist with the implementation and continued adherence to requirements of all external audit / certifications.
Health Safety Quality Environmental Coordinator – Accountabilities
- • Recording and collating accident / incident data, including calculating Accident Frequency Rates (AFRs).
- • Supporting the HSQE in completing accident investigation, root cause analysis and agreeing remedial actions. Liaising with client / client portals as appropriate.
- • Supporting the internal audit and review process, including ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 compliance and other certification processes.
- • Supporting the annual review and updating of generic risk assessments and COSHH assessments and other key documentation.
- • Supporting the development of the internal management systems.
- • Creating, designing and implementing operational forms (Quality, H&S and Environmental) and supporting electronic operating platforms in the collation and analysis of key data.
- • Monitoring and tracking of close out actions from site inspections, audits, NCRs and other.
- • Provide information, support and guidance to the operations department, and to all other functions within the Company as required.
- • Organisation and maintaining of the HSQE shared files and documentation.
- • Identification of key information and best practice, and associated sharing with the Company.
Health Safety Quality Environmental Coordinator – Qualities & Experience
- • Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel, on occasion, within reason.
- • Knowledge and understanding of effective HSQE administration and coordination, including relevant legislation and best practices.
- • Appropriate professional qualifications (NEBOSH / IOSH / NCRQ etc) and any appropriate CPD / relevant qualifications – highly desirable.
- • Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel systems.
- • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make logical decisions.
- • Willingness to undertake training and further qualifications highly desirable
- • Must possess good interpersonal skills, be a team player and have good communication and computer skills.
The Health Safety Quality Environmental Coordinator is offering £26,000 – £28,000 basic salary to be based from our client’s Midlands office. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5pm.
