Our client is an established business based in Knaresborough. They are currently recruiting an experienced Part-time Accounts/Bookkeeper to support their business, working 15-20 hours per week with the flexibility to work from home. The role reports to the Managing Directors and Office Manager and will liaise and provide information to the external accountants who produce detailed management accounts.
Part-time Accounts/Bookkeeper – Role
- 90 % of this role will be working remotely and 10% working in the office when required.
- Full management of the Sales Ledger both sterling and euros.
- Full management of the Purchase Ledger.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts both sterling and euro accounts.
- Posting and reconciling petty cash.
- Posting and reconciling credit card.
- Preparation and submission of Vat Returns.
- Preparation of payroll, including pension submissions.
- Production of management information including quarterly management accounts.
- Preparation of year end information for the external accountants.
- Working mainly independently but liaising with the accountants.
- Cash flow management.
Part-time Accounts/Bookkeeper – Person
- Experience on Sage 50 accounts a must, experience with other accounting software an advantage.
- Strong bookkeeping skills and experience.
- Can do attitude and good communication skills.
- Computer literate, confident with Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
- Work well under pressure and have excellent time management.
