Our client is an established manufacturing business based near Thirsk. Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting for an Industrial Electrical to join their established engineering team. The role will be responsible for maintenance and breakdown repairs of plant, equipment and electrical systems to enable safe, efficient and reliable production.
Industrial Electrical Accountabilities:
- Conducting reactive and planned maintenance tasks on industrial electrical systems.
- Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of electrical systems across a wide variety of equipment.
- New installation work.
- Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to highlight damage, malfunctions or safety issues.
- Self motivated individual, capable of working as part of a team and on their own initiative.
- Comfortable working at height.
- Carry out Risk Assessments before starting any maintenance task and always carry out duties in a safe manner.
- Complete reports and hand overs to ensure that accurate information is recorded and communicated.
- Communicate effectively with all relevant areas of manufacturing site.
Industrial Electrical Skills & Experience:
- An experienced Electrician with 17th Edition certification or above.
- Experienced in conducting electrical maintenance within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in Automation & conveyors is desirable.
- CompEX 1-4 and 5-6 desirable.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A logical thinker, fault-finding skills.
The Industrial Electrical position is offering £32,000 – £38,000 basic salary plus benefits for the successful candidate. Working hours Monday to Friday, 8am until 4.30pm, with overtime available.
