HR Business Partner – Key Responsibilities
• Lead the resourcing process for all roles within the project structure to ensure that successful candidates are aligned with the needs of the project.
• Provide advice and guidance to Line Managers on employee relations issues, such as discipline, grievance and absence management, in accordance with the Group’s policies and procedures.
• Upskill Managers in effective and positive management strategies and approach people management guidance in a pragmatic but best practice way.
• Produce management information to support the leadership team with decision making.
• Support Plant & Resource – workforce onboarding, to ensure accurate processing of employee related data in accordance with standard protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate and liaise with our client’s customer representatives, to ensure the approach to people is in line with the legacy requirements and expectations agreed, with a particular emphasis on localism, SEE and training.
HR Business Partner – Key Competencies
• A proven track record in a HR Generalist position is ideal, with demonstrable experience in an environment which demands a variety of people management approaches, skills, and knowledge.
• Previous experience in the construction / heavy industry would assist the successful candidate in understanding culture, expectations, and common themes within human resource practice within the sector.
• Educated to Degree standard or equivalent, ideally, with CIPD certification.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of employment legislation and coach Line Managers in its practical application.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple cases and projects.
• A proactive and dedicated approach to work and the desire to add value wherever possible.
• Excellent written communication skills supplemented by effective interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and understand operational demands, developing people strategies to support these demands.
The HR Business Partner position is offering £45,000 – £50,000 basic salary plus car allowance & other great benefits. This is a Hybrid position, working 3 days per week on project sites in travelling distance of Aylesbury.
