I’m currently partnering with a global B2B distributor to hire an Account Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales support or customer-facing experience to join a dynamic, international organisation and gain exposure to the pharmaceutical ingredients and specialty chemicals sector.

Working closely with Account and Development Managers, you’ll play a key role in supporting commercial activities, managing customer enquiries, coordinating sales processes, and ensuring a high level of service delivery.

The Role

  • Provide administrative and operational support to Account / Development Managers
  • Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries
  • Support sales lead administration and follow-up activities
  • Prepare quotes, manage opportunity pipelines, and track sales activity
  • Coordinate product sample requests and follow up with customers
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and sales reporting
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Create Business Opportunities (BO), produce quotes and complete Follow Up Reports (FUR), - ensuring timely action is taken to maintain the pipeline

About You

  • Previous experience in sales support, account coordination, or customer service
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work with sales data
  • Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment
