Workshop Controller

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:30am- 5:30pm

Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm (on a rota basis)

Responsibility for Workshop Controller

As our Workshop Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop, driving high levels of productivity, and maintaining exceptional standards of service. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Efficient Workload Management: Oversee and prioritize workshop tasks to ensure all targets and deadlines are met.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and motivate a team of technicians to maintain optimal productivity and quality of work.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all repairs and services are carried out to the highest standards, meeting both customer expectations and company protocols.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all workshop operations comply with health and safety regulations.

Requirements for Workshop Controller

  • Previous Experience: Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Manager, or Quality Controller within the automotive industry.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in an automotive-related discipline.
  • Full UK Driving License: A clean driving record is essential.
  • Passion & Drive: A strong work ethic, combined with a passion for the motor trade and a desire to drive the business forward.
