Trustees will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the Hospice, providing support, scrutiny, and challenge to ensure effective operation. Candidates should have experience at a strategic level or as a senior leader in relevant fields such as law, accounting, or the charity sector.

We are seeking experienced and skilled people who would like to join our talented Board of Trustees.
[Employer hidden] supports patients from across Tameside and Glossop with any life-limiting illness and those closest to them. Through specialist and compassionate care, our teams empower them to enhance their lives, to live as well as possible, for as long as possible.
As a trustee, you will play a crucial and active role in shaping the strategic direction of the Hospice, based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester.
With your commitment and enthusiasm, you will be involved in both governance responsibilities and proactive initiatives, as well as provide support, scrutiny and challenge to ensure the Hospice is able to grow and operate effectively.
The role of a trustee can be demanding but ultimately very rewarding, as your contribution will help to make positive changes to people’s lives.
We are looking for trustees who have worked at a strategic level or as a senior leader as a solicitor, an accountant or from the charity / social care sector.
