About the Role

[Employer hidden] are looking for an experienced Roofer with a strong background in all aspects of roofing. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 years’ hands-on roofing experience and be fully competent in carrying out work independently. Please note, this role is not suitable for individuals whose experience is limited to laboring only.

Requirements

Duties:

• We are looking for an experienced roofer with a strong background in all aspects of roofing.
• Confident in working on flat roofs e.g EPDM systems
• Have experience doing valleys, verge, pitched roofs
• Tile repairs, leak investigation, as well as fascia, soffits, and guttering.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience in roofing or construction environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and roofing plans is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
• A minimum of 6 years experience.
• A full UK Driving licence.
• Based within the Southampton area.
• Strong understanding of construction principles including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and general building practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights comfortably.
• Physicaly fit and able
• Relevant certifications in health & safety or working at heights is desirable but not essential. This role offers an engaging opportunity for experienced roofers committed to quality craftsmanship and safety standards within the construction industry.

Working Hours:

• Monday - Friday
• 7am - 4pm, 40 hours a week

Salary:

£18.00 - £20.00 per hour / *£144 - £160 a day* (DOE)
