- Minimum 500hrs actual flight time on Airbus A320 airplanes**

- Minimum 1000hrs actual flight time as PIC on Airbus A3xx full FBW airplanes/*

- Minimum 3.000 hours actual flight time AND 100 landings completed on Airbus A320/A330/A340/A350/A380 (in combination)**

Minimum 1 500hrs FT on certified MPA MET(jet/ fan) with MTOW > 50T in a public CAT operator environment (excluding business/corporate environment),

OR

Minimum 500hrs FT as PIC on certified MPA MET (jet/fan) airplanes with MTOW ≥ 20T in any CAT operator environment (including business/corporate environment). **

FIRST OFFICER - NON-TYPE RATED - EXPERIENCED

- Current multi-engine class/type rating + IR (combined) in a valid license

- Minimum 500hrs time on certified MPA MET airplane*, in a CAT operator environment

- In case of CPL(A) license: ATPL theory completed**

- JOC or APS-MCC (jet/fan) course completed*** (certificate or license endorsement as remark)

NOTES:

- ATPL theory completed*

- Either:

Minimum 140 hours actual flight time on fixed wing aircraft** via ATP integrated flight school training.

OR

Minimum 200 hours actual flight time on fixed wing aircraft** via CPL/IR modular flight school training

NOTES:

*ATPL theory certificate issued by EASA MS / UK CAA or entered in the license

**Ultra-light aircraft, power gliders, simulator and helicopter hours are excluded

FIRST OFFICER - NON-TYPE RATED - CADET LEVEL

Registration for these Selection Events events is mandatory. Please apply by filling out the Pilot Application Form below.

Before making an AOC selection, make sure that you are eligible to work for that AOC and that the AOC offers the base and roster pattern according to your preference. For more information, consult the roster pattern section.

IMPORTANT: Please be advised that it would not be possible to change the AOC during the application process.

NEW RETENTION/SIGN-ON BONUS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I have submitted my application a long time ago but never received an answer. Shall I re-apply again or just wait?

Waiting time depends on the necessity of the market and company needs. Once you have been set to invited status, as soon as slots are available for an assessment event, you will be automatically notified via the system.

I have been invited to book an assessment. However, I have received an email that all events are full. What should I do?

Event availability depends on the position you have applied for. Certain positions require lower/higher number of slots. If the system shows full, it automatically means that there are no slots available anymore under your particular position. Should slots become open again, you will be notified via email.

I hold a non-European passport, is the company helping me with the working permit for AOC Malta & Hungary?

In order to be eligible for [Employer hidden] Malta & [Employer hidden] Hungary, you need to have unrestricted right to live and work in the EU or Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, North Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine.

I have been invited to a recruitment event, how can I register to it?

You will find all of the instructions of how to register in the invitation email. Once you have booked your slot, you will receive a confirmation email.

I have been invited to a recruitment event: is the company supporting me with flight / accommodation?

For [Employer hidden] Hungary Selection events, the company will provide flight tickets and hotel accommodation only to Captains and experienced Type rated first officers for recruitment events being held in Budapest. For [Employer hidden] Malta Selection events, the company will provide flight tickets only to Captains and experienced Type rated first officers for recruitment events being held in Rome.

I am planning to join [Employer hidden] as flight deck. Which AOC should I apply for?

You should apply with the AOC that better accommodates your needs regarding base and roster preferences.

I cannot submit my Pilot Scoring form, what could be the problem?

In order for the Pilot scoring form to be successfully submitted, please make sure you have filled in all the mandatory fields specified in the form.

I failed the assessment, when am I going to be able to apply again?

Each and every candidate is evaluated according to his/her performance during the assessment days. The assessors will decide how long your freezing period is going to be. Once your freezing period is over, kindly contact us in order to reactivate your application.

What is the base change policy?

The Base Change policy allows candidates to switch bases. A new joiner may submit their base change after their line check release. Once the base change has been submitted, you will be able to track your status on the waiting list. This is a first come, first serve process which allows for a clear and transparent process for all employees.

I had to cancel my assessment booking, when can I book again?

If you cancel your assessment within one week prior to the event, you will not be able to book an assessment for the following two weeks.
