NEW EXCITING OPPORTUNITY at the Hospice’s new flagship specialist bookshop in Weybridge. Due to open in October 2021. Ideal for anyone with a knowledge and passion for books and literature whilst developing both their retail and ecommerce skills.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about books and thrives in a busy eclectic environment. Excellent customer service is at the heart of everything we represent in our retail teams and you will be part of a team who is inspirational in its approach to working with our volunteers and customers.
Tasks will include sorting donations of books and media, pricing, assisting with floor layouts and stock and an opportunity to work as part of the team growing our online book sales.
This is an ideal opportunity for anyone with who loves books, has a creative flare and wants to learn more about our books business. You will:
- Develop excellent customer service skills
- Work as part of an exciting new bookshop team
- Develop ecommerce skills
- Be part of a growing books business
Reporting to the Specialist Books Manager you will have great communication skills and the ability to inspire a team of staff and volunteers acting as an ambassador for [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk].
[Employer hidden] raises money to support people living through the challenges of life-limiting and terminal illnesses in North West Surrey – 80% of our care is at home in the local community. This is a very rewarding role that can really make a difference.
The Weybridge Sam Beare Bookshop is easily commutable from surrounding areas. This is a 37.5 hours per week position which includes weekend working on a rotational basis.
