FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Bradford to inspect orthotic devices, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities include order organization, device inspection, discrepancy recording, cleaning, paperwork completion, and packing. The role requires a keen eye for detail, good interpersonal skills, and basic PC skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise orders giving priority to the earliest dates working to production planning lists.
  • Check devices meet the specification provided.
  • Check devices for any cosmetic discrepancies, record these and raise with production managers in the agreed manner.
  • Clean devices and ensure dust / pen marks / glue are removed.
  • Ensure all paperwork completed for the devices before passing for final inspection.
  • Entering any quality rejections on to the inhouse system
  • Packing and labelling finished devices
  • Any other duties as required

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Keen eye for detail
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Basic PC skills

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Orthotic device or manufacturing
  • Experience in quality inspection
