Summer Work Experience Placement 2026

Who the scheme is suitable for

Our placements are aimed at those aged 18 and above. However, in line with our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy, we actively seek to promote access to the legal profession for those typically underrepresented within the legal industry.

We therefore prioritise two work placements each year for individuals who share characteristics with those underrepresented groups.

When are the placements?

We offer the following placements each year:

• 2 x one week work placements during the Easter period based at one of our offices.
• 6 x one week work placements during the Summer period based at one of our offices.

Our week-long programme is designed to give you an opportunity to experience and understand the practical skills required for a career in law. You will gain experience through spending time with our legal advisers in various departments, undertaking drafting and research tasks whilst receiving feedback with the opportunity to ask questions of the teams to gain a better understanding of a career in law.
