Are you an experienced paralegal interested in developing a great career and looking for a new challenge?

What you will be doing:

  • Managing written and oral communication with third parties
  • Managing reporting obligations to include updating clients
  • Drafting documents including pleadings, training materials and client reports
  • Using persuasive language to negotiate preferable outcomes for clients
  • Proofreading to ensure consistency across documents Analysing documents and summarising key legal principles
  • Reviewing and analysing legal entitlement to documentation
  • Applying key legal principles to an agreed course of action

What you will need:

  • a minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role
  • previous experience in a regulatory and compliance role
  • previous experience in a complaints management role or responding to the legal ombudsman would be desirable
  • previous experience using a case management system
  • strong IT skills and accurate typing ability
  • ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • a high degree of flexibility and initiative along with excellent organisational and prioritising skills; the ability to adapt and manage priorities at short notice is essential
  • the ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels
  • strong business and commercial acumen is desirable
  • enthusiasm, drive and commitment and to be a strong team player
