This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate Registered Nurses with community nursing experience to deliver high-quality care to patients in their own homes across the Bromley area.

As a Community Nurse, you will manage a caseload of patients in their own homes.

The role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Contributing to the holistic assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care
  • Implementing, monitoring, and maintaining high standards of care
  • Reassessing and evaluating programmes of care as required
  • Working as an active member of the team, sharing best practice wherever possible

Skills Required:

  • Catheterisation – Female, Male and Suprapubic
  • Insulin administration
  • Enoxaparin administration
  • IM & SC injections
  • Removal of sutures/clips
  • Bowel care, including administration of suppositories, enemas, and DRE
  • Compression bandaging, including K-Two and Actico
  • Pressure ulcer and wound care
  • PICC line management
  • Enteral care, including medication administration, flushing, and feeding
  • All aspects of McKinley syringe driver care
  • IV therapy, including infusion and bolus
  • Ability to administer and transcribe medication

Client Requirements:

  • NMC Registered
  • 6 months Community Nursing experience
  • UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle

This opportunity offers:

  • The hours: 08:15 till 16:15 or 10:45 till 18:45
  • Mileage can be claimed for
  • Equipment is provided
