General Practice Nurse (GPN) – Spirometry

As a General Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in managing and monitoring long-term conditions, delivering health prevention, screening programs, and ensuring patients receive holistic, evidence-based care. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide outstanding service while adhering to practice policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalised care programs to enhance patient health and wellbeing.
• Perform and interpret spirometry tests (ARTP Registered).
• Conduct routine nursing tasks including clinical observations, height, and weight measurements.
• Administer and monitor medications in line with protocols and legislation.
• Maintain accurate records of daily checks, including spirometry equipment, defibrillators, emergency equipment, and oxygen.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• NMC Registered
• Experience as a General Practice Nurse with spirometry skills (ARTP Registered).
• Strong clinical and assessment skills with the ability to provide holistic care.
