Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner (ANP/ACP)

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] has opportunities for Advanced Practitioners (ANP/ACP) to support a Minor Injury Unit in Horsham.

We are looking for highly skilled ANPs and ACPs with proven experience in MIU or A&E settings, who can confidently and independently assess, treat, and discharge patients presenting with minor injuries or illnesses.

Typical presentations include:

• Acute limb injuries (fractures, wounds, sprains, and strains – excluding potential hip or thigh fractures)
• Traumatic wounds
• Foreign bodies (eyes, ears, nose)
• Rib injuries
• Minor back injuries (excluding chronic conditions or major trauma)
• Insect and animal bites/stings
• Burns and scalds
• Splinter removal
• Wound suturing (excluding eyes, nose, and lips)

Requirements:

• NMC or HCPC registration
• Competent in X-ray interpretation
• Previous MIU or A&E experience
• Minor Injuries and Minor Illness qualifications
• Triage and Assessment
