[Employer hidden] has opportunities for locum General Practitioners to support Out of Hours (OOH) services across Somerset.

We are looking for GPs to deliver high-quality urgent primary care to patients when GP surgeries are closed. This is an excellent opportunity for GPs looking for flexible work, competitive pay, and the chance to make a meaningful impact within local urgent care services.

Role Overview

• Provide urgent primary care consultations for patients during out-of-hours periods
• Manage a broad range of acute presentations safely and effectively
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams within the OOH service
• Deliver care via face-to-face consultations, home visits, or telephone/remote triage depending on service needs

Available Shifts:Friday: 19:00 – 08:00 and Saturday & Sunday: 08:00 – 23:00 / 23:00 – 08:00

Client Requirements

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and licence to practise
• Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
• Experience in urgent care / out-of-hours settings desirable
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Right to work in the UK
