Based in our flagship London office, this role comes with hybrid working practices.

What the day will look like

In this wide and varied role your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Leading day to day delivery of broking placements – including client and insurer engagement, preparation of insurer submissions, drafting of client reports, project managing the underwriting process, and handling policy binding
  • Supervise post transaction handling of invoicing and collating post-deal marketing collateral.
  • Manage collaborator relationships (with client and adviser relationships being key to business generation).
  • Boost understanding of the broader AMATS capabilities to effectively connect with collaborators.
  • Assist with proposals/pitches and developing the team’s pipeline.

How this opportunity is different

Join a dynamic team working on a diverse range of UK and international transactions—from multi-billion pound deals to sub-£50m opportunities. As an Associate, you’ll gain exposure to high-impact projects including buy/sell-side, carve-outs, and distressed M&A. With clear paths for progression within Transaction Solutions and the wider AMATS division, plus global career opportunities across [Employer hidden], this is a launchpad for ambitious talent ready to grow fast.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Manager-level in M&A tax, preferably in Big 4 or legal firm, specialising in international tax.
  • Strong understanding of tax principles, compliance, and regulations, with exposure to transactional tax matters.
  • Experience in a Transfer Pricing team with a broader tax background is advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability and desire to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about business development activities and client presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax issues effectively.
